Stop asking for "anyone who needs help." 🛑
When you’re networking, being vague is actually a hurdle for the people who want to support you. We all want to help, but our brains work better with specific triggers! 🧠
💡 Today’s Tip: The Power of the Specific Ask.
Instead of saying, "I'm looking for more clients," try being surgical.
❌ Vague: "I’m looking for anyone who needs marketing."
✅ Specific: "I’m looking to connect with owners of local med spas who are looking to grow their booking list this summer."
See the difference? The second one immediately brings a specific face or name to mind. It makes it easy for your network to say, "Oh! I actually know someone!"
Real-world example: A realtor doesn't just ask for "home buyers." They ask for "families looking to move into the Northside area because they need more yard space." 🏡
Let's put this into practice right now! 👇
What is ONE specific type of person or business you’re looking to connect with this week?
Drop it in the comments and let’s see if we can make some magic happen together! ✨
