7 years ago tonight I officially entered the world of the unknown as I was involved in my very first paranormal investigation... it was a modest venture with minimal equipment... but one I'll never forget... not the experience itself... not the review... and not the reveal... several personal experiences, class A EVPs and all.... I distinctly recall more than a few live experiences but will never be able to explain how we were descending the staircase toward the main level of the house and plain as day heard the clothes dryer in the basement running (EVERYONE knows the sound of a dryer tumbling) as well as the DISTINCT odor of dryer sheets/softener resonating up from below to the main floor.... everyone knows that aroma too.... to the point that my partner and I looked at each other and both uttered, "The owners must have come home while we were upstairs... but they CANNOT do the laundry while we are conducting and investigation!!!!"... as we approached the basement door, the noise and smell stopped... upon inspection we determined that the owners had NOT come home... the dryer vent hose was cold... and the dryer was empty....... I was "sold".....
many days and many nights later, I'm not gonna lie... I miss it... and miss meeting the amazing people who share the same passion.. thank you to everyone that help me understand even a little bit more along the way.

4 years ago ATR investigated a supposed haunted campground in Colchester CT... today, one of the spirits that arose from that investigation may have come to me... thoughts???
