Today, we honor the fallen heroes and every life forever changed on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, 8 EMTs/paramedics, and countless civilians who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Their courage, sacrifice, and bravery will never be forgotten. We also remember the families who lost loved ones and the first responders who continue to carry the physical and emotional scars of that day.

Today, we honor and celebrate the hardworking men and women who keep our community, our state, and our country moving forward. Whether you’re working long hours, serving the public, caring for your family, or volunteering your time to help others—we appreciate you! ❤️

A special thank you to all of our first responders, healthcare workers, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, essential workers, and fellow volunteers who continue to serve, even on holidays. Your dedication and sacrifice never go unnoticed.

This month, we proudly recognize and honor the brave men and women of Fairmont Rural Fire Department!

These dedicated volunteers answer the call when our community needs them most. They step forward—not for recognition or reward, but because they care about their neighbors and are willing to serve, protect, and help others in times of need.

Thank you, to all the firefighters out there, for your courage, sacrifice, commitment, and countless hours of service to your community. Your willingness to run toward danger while others are running away is a true example of selflessness and bravery.

Please join us this month in showing your appreciation for our firefighters. Thank a firefighter. Support your local fire department. Pray for those who serve. 🙏🚒
