Don't forget, this Sat (10/24), 618 Biz's very own Tameika Thomas will be hosting her non profit, Avery & Aubrey’s Way annual event, the "Wellness Experience." This event is FREE to YOU, the community, providing EVERYTHING feel-good (we could all use some of that). Set those reminders and be in the building, because St. Louis funny man Jevon Westmoland is going to keep the laughter rolling 🤎

Last night, our two founders were honored, along with 18 other women, during a private dinner, hosted at the beautiful venue, The Velour Room Event Space co-owned by our sister-friend, Latasha Bailey-Johnson who is also the owner of IMPERIOUS CELEBRATIONS & DECOR 🤗. If you're seeking an elegant space for your next event, we HIGHLY recommend inquiring 🤞🏾

We may be on a business break, but our girls are still moving, grooving, shaking, and making things happen within the community 😍

🎶 WHERE MUSIC MEETS PURPOSE — MEET OUR VIP COCKTAIL HOUR PERFORMER, KE’IRA LEWIS! 🎶

We’re excited to welcome recording artist, songwriter, playwright, and performer Ke’Ira Lewis to The Orphan’s Odyssey: Geared for Greatness Gala on November 7, 2026!

Ke’Ira will help set the tone for an unforgettable evening as our VIP Cocktail Hour Performer, bringing soulful energy and live music to the room as guests arrive, mingle, and prepare for a night dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth in foster care.

Born in Chicago and raised in Port Arthur, Texas, Ke’Ira’s love for music began at just three years old. Today, she writes, produces, records, and performs while continuing to build her creative vision through KDL Produktionz LLC. Her sound brings audiences back to the heart of ’90s R&B, while her creative work extends into stage productions that blend original and cover music, dance, poetry, and theater.

Whether performing as a solo artist or alongside her band Fy’Nully, Ke’Ira has shared her talent at private, community, public, and corporate events. She also pours into the next generation of vocalists through one-on-one vocal coaching.

Her personal philosophy beautifully reflects the spirit of our gala: our gifts and talents are not simply for ourselves—they are meant to be a blessing to others.

And on November 7, she’ll be using her gift to help us begin an extraordinary evening with music, elegance, and purpose.

✨ Come experience Ke’Ira Lewis LIVE during the VIP Cocktail Hour!
