Often clients of mine notice subtle resistance from friends and family when they make the choice to be healthier. “Oh you can eat just a little bit” or “You’re going to workout on vacation?” or “You have to eat dessert, we are celebrating!” It’s not intentional sabotage but it’s also not intentional support. As you continue to put your health and happiness first, sometimes that means choosing those who provide intentional support. The weekend provides a great opportunity to use a little downtime to think about who is in your camp supporting you and holding you accountable to your goals and who may not be. Happy Saturday!
