A season changes. A door closes. An assignment ends.

But that does not mean the story is over.

There is still another page. There is still purpose. There is still a calling.

If you are standing in a season of uncertainty today, don’t mistake transition for completion.

Keep walking.
Keep trusting.
Keep turning the page.

God is not finished.

Why I Wrote Still Here. Still Called.

Yesterday I announced that my new book, Still Here. Still Called.: When Everything Changed, God Wasn’t Finished, is now available on Amazon.

Today I wanted to share a little more about why I wrote it.

There came a point after everything I had been through when I found myself asking, “What is my purpose now?”

Through that season, God began to show me something that has become one of the central messages of this book:

An assignment can end without the calling ending.

I believe there are people who have experienced failure, loss, sickness, disappointment, or unexpected changes and have wondered whether God can still use their lives.

That’s who I hope this book reaches.

Don’t wait until you understand your entire calling before you start pursuing God.

You don’t need a title.

You don’t need a pulpit.

You don’t need to know whether you’re going to be a pastor, evangelist, missionary, teacher, or something else.

Start with relationship.

Start praying. Start studying. Start serving.

For quite some time, I’ve felt that my story needed to be told.

It’s a story of calling, mistakes, ministry, setbacks, restoration, and the faithfulness of God through seasons I never expected to face.

Over the past several weeks, that story has finally become a book.

There are still a few final steps before it’s ready, but today I can finally say this:
