At a very young age, I knew my purpose in life was to care for people. Caring for my mother-in-law for a few years before she passed was such a wonderful experience, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. This experience really confirmed my passion for the “End-of-Life Journey.
My journey as an End-of -Life Doula has been a heartfelt purpose. I am here to support, educate, and guide you and your loved ones through various aspects of your End-of-Life Journey. My mission is to create a sacred space with love, trust, compassion, peace, and meaning, and above all to create an individual end of life plan I will insure, that neither you nor your loved ones ever feel alone, and I am dedicated to walk alongside you during such times.
My desire for meaningful work is to impact those in my community in a unique way. I’m a certified End-of-Life Doula, through the International Doulagivers Institute and it’s an honor to be considered a part of your journey. I am here to serve you with Trust, Compassion and Understanding.

Why We Need Non-Medical End of Life Doulas?

Fact #1
There are 76.4 million Baby Boomers living in the United States. 20% of them do not have children to act as caregivers.

Fact #2
9/10 people want to be kept at home if they become terminally ill.
Yet over half are dying in the hospital or long-term-care facility.

Fact #3
In 2034, adults ages 65 and over will outnumber children aged 18 and younger for the first time in US history. The number of people aged 65 and over is projected to increase from 52 million in 2018 to 98 million by 2060.

Fact #4
As the number of elderly people is increasing, the number of medical professionals is decreasing. The U.S. could see a shortage of 120,000 physicians and will need 12 million new nurses by 2030.
