Wrecking/scrap yard jobs involve dismantling vehicles/materials, sorting metal, operating heavy equipment (forklifts, crushers), pulling and cataloging usable parts, handling hazardous fluids (oil, fuel), and assisting customers, all while strictly following safety/environmental rules to maximize recycling and provide affordable used parts for the auto industry, requiring physical stamina and mechanical aptitude.

Driver/Yard Man
This role is primarily focused on the timely pickup and delivery of loads. In periods where loads are not available, the selected candidate will be expected to assist with general yard duties to support overall operational efficiency

Desired Qualifications:
• 18+ years old
• Ability to demonstrate, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service
• Valid driver's license (Class C, J endorsement or CDL is a plus)
• Clean driving record required for drivers
• Ability to drive a large truck while towing a trailer. This includes loading and securing loads to truck and trailer, unloading, maintaining required equipment, and safely transporting goods while adhering to traffic laws, efficient route planning, pre-trip checks, fueling, cleanliness, managing paperwork, and communication with management and dispatch.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operating principles, hazards and safety precautions as well as mechanical ability (Forklift, Excavator, Bailer)
• Ability to operate a Tire mounting machine
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Not afraid to get dirty
• Able to lift 50lbs

Pay: Depends on Experience and Knowledge
Schedule: Monday through Friday, some Saturdays. Full time/Part time available
