🥳🐝🍷 Happy 829 Day!— There is a story behind all of our wines, but this is the flavor we are asked about most often. 829 is the honey wine Kyle made for our wedding, long before we had a business. Back then it was called “Marry Mead.” For various label regulation reasons we aren’t permitted to put it on the bottle, so we changed the name to our anniversary date: August 29.

829 is a sweet honey wine with a subtle layering of raspberries. It is always on our menu, and consistently our best seller.

Give us a shout & stop on by our Tasting Room to celebrate! We are offering an 8.29% discount on all bottles of 829 today.

We do have some reservation times for tastings still available: 4-5pm, and 5-6pm.

Grab and go is available between 4-8pm, please call ahead!

It was quite the 2 weeks here. Harvesting, processing, package assembly, regulation approvals, photographing, promoting, & almost selling out in 24 hours.

All honey has been sold except for these 2 little jars. Thank you..!!

We are winding down our busy week & just want to thank everyone for their interest & supporting our little winery & apiary.

Honey sales will return with the next harvest— when the bees are ready.

Preorders were taken on our original “HONEY: Coming Soon” post from August 12 and are now closed.

After accounting for preorders on that post, we only have FIVE jars left for purchase in our store.
• 2 pints - $15 each
• 2 half pints - $8 each
• 1 specialty square (10oz) - $13 each

Please contact us to schedule a pickup time to purchase a honey jar during our operating hours. Fridays & Saturdays from 4-8pm.

*** First come, first served. ***
Limit 1 jar per reservation time so everyone who really wants one can get one.

Reservations are REQUIRED for all visits to our winery/apiary. We are very small and on private property.

As we mentioned in our original post— we are a micro operation, and everything we release is very limited. We are a husband and wife team who run Mountain Meads Co. on the weekends in our spare time. It is just the 2 of us & it can be quite the undertaking, sometimes. 😅

For those of you who have visited us before, you know we only take from the bees what are their excess honey reserves— which until this year, all of it went into making our wine.

🐝 We were fortunate this summer to have a little extra honey to share with all of you— which was approximately 25 pounds to put into jars. We may get a second harvest in the Fall, but it is entirely dependent on the bees.

✨ ***To those of you who commented/messaged their jar size preference on our previous post, thank you! We have set your jars aside & will hold them for 2 weeks.***

🫙 The remaining jars will be available beginning this Friday, August 21 from 4-8pm. **FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.**
