I finally got to do a print on my new printer that I have been wanting to test & it came out beautifully! Check it out- The White House. This one is much lighter, but I liked the detail better than the resin. Also, while that was printing ; that took almost 26 hours!!!) I printed these lovely ladies, in resin. I have been working on these since Christmas-on & off & could never get them to print. But, aside from one flare (which I can easily correct) the ladies came out beautifully!!! Just wondering if I should leave them bisque or paint them??? BTW- I would be happy to sell this figurine to anyone interested.

Today I had the honor of presenting Secret Service Agent Marshall Mirarchi with the Memorial Tribute sculpture I’ve been working on for months — transporting it all the way from Massachusetts to Arizona, and then on to Colorado Springs.

I was deeply moved by how touched they were by the piece. Anyone who watched me work on it these past few months can tell you: countless hours and materials went into this creation, and every bit of it was given with heart.

What I didn’t expect was what came next. SSA Mirarchi and the Hurricane’s Heroes team gave me gifts of their own — a Hurricane’s Heroes T-shirt, a K9 Hurricane trading card, and K9 Hurricane training treats, specially formulated for high-drive working dogs. And if that wasn’t already more than enough… SSA Mirarchi presented me with a White House Secret Service K9 Emergency Response Unit coin. What an extraordinary honor. The stories he shared about his years serving as SSA at the White House — under three presidents — were unforgettable.

Making this moment even more special was the company I had beside me. I’m staying with retired Deputy Don Allison and his wife Rachel here in Colorado Springs. Don and my dad served together as Deputies at the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department — Don was my dad’s supervisor and, in many ways, a second father to me. Since losing my dad to Parkinson’s, Don and Rachel have become my bonus family. Having them there to share this moment with me meant everything.

While those K9 Hurricane Treats we will, “disappear”- Rocky will definitely be getting them, everything else will find a special place in my home, right next to My Dads flag & memorial items.. 🐾

So proud to share this! I created these sculptures of SSA Mirarchi & K9 Hurricane over the last few months & finally got them out. They have found their place in their new home.

The video says it better than I can. Thank you K9 Hurricane's Heroes for sharing. This nearly made me cry, it was just so special.

Police Week, In honor of our K9s & those who work with them, this goes out to our newest and on to whose K9 Unit just lost & back down to my home on the Cape who just marked the anniversary of the untimely death of OfficerSeanGannon who was survived by his heroic K9 Nero whose name is on law bettering the lives of Massachusetts working K9s, to K9Dakota originally from the & & is the name behind what is about to become law for retired K9s in the state of Massachusetts, & to all those such as K9 Hurricane, whose tireless work brings awareness to K9 issues & then in my hometown of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a shoutout to the K9Unit & K9 Roam who lost his leg in defense of his handler & officers. Thank you to those great K9 handlers that blazed the trail & laid the foundation for those that followed & who I have been so very privileged to know. These are our best K9 Heroes, their partners, handlers, trainers, units & the communities that support them. Heroes, one and all.
