Does your company give surveys to clients or employees? What do they do with the data? Most companies will just use percentages to summarize how people responded to questions (e.g., 50% of people say they are satisfied.) There is so much more that can be done with your data to provide deeper insights. Let me know if there is any way that I can help your company to move beyond the basics.

I highly encourage anyone collecting data to talk to a statistician before the beginning of data collection. There are simple things (i.e., putting some form of identification on pre- and post- surveys) that can drastically change the ability to analyze the data as well as to get the most out of the data that is being collected. Every time I start with a new client who already has data, they are unaware of how they are limiting potential outcomes with the analyses that they are running. Data can be so incredibly rich and informative if you use it in the right ways.
