When you leave for a trip...always make sure you have the next one already booked.

Carissa and I have learned this the hard way.

We’ve both been guilty of getting too caught up in the grind.

Building a business.

Raising a family.

Saying, “We’ll plan something soon.”

But then soon turns into someday, and someday rarely happens.

So now, we’re intentional.

Every time we take a trip—no matter how big or small—we make sure the next one is already on the calendar.

Sometimes it is our family.

Other times it’s just us.

Why?

Because anticipation is powerful.

It gives you something to look forward to.

It reminds you what you’re working for.

It creates space to connect—away from the day-to-day noise.

Never underestimate the power of a handwritten note.

With our clients, we always send a handwritten note after sessions thanking them for spending the time with us, the opportunity to positively influence their business and to motivate and inspire through the process!

Kudos to a huge company like 1st Phorm for taking the time after what was just a minor supplement order I put in with them for the first time a couple weeks ago! 👊
