Seriously, this kid is the center of my WORLD! So happy that daddy, grandma and grandpa send me pictures while I’m away for work. He loves machinery and apparently was cheesin’ in the forklift! 😍

This past year my love for reading came back to me after a long hiatus (I won’t say how long 😂). I’ve been obsessed with biographies, self-help stories, and my favorite-Russian Czars. But this book is my latest obsession. Ladies, not just the pageant type, this is a must read! Kristen Dalton not only focuses on the spiritual side of competing in pageants she also provides great insight on how to integrate God into all aspects of your life starting with YOU! ❤️

Being a military mom who is TDY pretty much every month is hard. Hard as in I have horrible mom guilt for not being there every day for my son. BUT, I’m so lucky to have an awesome hubby who picks up the extra duties while I’m away AND an amazing childcare center that sends me pictures like this. Thank God for smartphones with picture/messaging apps!

Hi! These are my feet! 😂 Exactly nine months ago I had surgery on my left foot to repair stress fractures, remove an extra bone, and repair some of my tendons. This surgery and recovery was HARDER than having my son via c-section. More so, recovery really got to me mentally. You have no idea how much you use your feet and legs until you suddenly lose full use of them. Well, today I took my first APFT without a running profile while at school. Although it wasn’t my best time, I was still able to score a 298/300. Even though I still have a long ways to go, I know now that most of the time it’s mind over matter.

While it’s the best time of the year to exercise outdoors, it is also one of the most dangerous times. Make sure you keep your heart health at the top of your priorities: hydrate, eat health, check the weather, and do what you can/are able to!

High summer temperatures shouldn't stop you from exercising outside, but you should know how to do so safely.

I had a wonderful time volunteering at our Bismarck RMHC annual golf tournament this past week. Thank you to all the participants, volunteers, and donors who helped make this day possible! Pictured with me is our fabulous director, Kathy. We both realized that we hadn’t had a picture together at ALL (usually because I’m taking the pictures and she’s avoiding them 😂)!
