I wanted to reach out to my friends, family, and local community for a little help. I work as a Job Coach at Rice County Activity Center, where I support adults with developmental disabilities in finding meaningful employment in our community.
Many of the individuals I work with are hardworking, dependable, and eager to work. They have interests and skills in areas such as cleaning, stocking, retail, assembly, light office support, light yard and lawn care, gardening and more.
One of my favorite parts of my job is helping people gain confidence, independence, and pride through employment. I don't just help them find jobs—I also provide support on the job site, assist with training, and help ensure both the employee and employer have a positive experience.
We are looking for part time employment, our center operates between mon-fri between the hours of 8-1pm.
