Quintet of the Americas, Queens’ renowned woodwind quintet, will be in concert this Wednesday and Thursday at the following times and Queens locations

June 10 at 10:30AM — Alzheimer’s Adult Day Program, 190-04 119 Ave., St. Albans, and June 10 at 1:00PM — ElmCor Golden Phoenix II Center for Older Adults, 95-18 Northern Blvd, (Church) Corona

June 11 at 11AM — CCNS/Seaside Older Adult Center, 320 Beach 94th Street, Rockaway Beach and June 11 at 1:00PM — at Beacon Rehabilitation Center, 140 Beach 113th St., Rockaway Park, N

These will be celebrations of new music by emerging Latino composers including Colombian composers Natalia Camargo Duarte, César Corredor Camacho, and Luis Aconcha Torres, Costa Rican composer Sergio Delgado, Mexican composer Gabriela Ortiz and Cuban composer Jorge Amado.

Tomorrow, June 7, from 3:00–4:30 p.m. at Manhattan's Stephen Wise Free Synagogue, Maestro Harold Rosenbaum and The New York Virtuoso Singers will present A Bouquet of Jewish Choral Music, including music by the Maestro himself -https://www.haroldrosenbaum.com/.

This will be an inclusive program featuring sacred and secular Jewish choral works, from classic psalm settings to contemporary compositions, celebrating heritage, community and the enduring resonance of Jewish musical traditions.
