On this Veterans Day, we want to educate our clients, friends, and family on the existence of the D-Day Memorial in Bedford Virginia. Matt happened upon it, years ago during a motorcycle trip…. Why Bedford?

Here is why…. Bedford’s population in 1944 was about 3,200. Proportionally this community suffered the nation’s severest D-Day losses. Recognizing Bedford was emblematic of all communities, large or small, whose citizen-soldiers served on D-Day.

Anyone who is able to see it, should see it.
