C**t Trooper Mark III 6” Blued chambered for .357 mag DOM; 1976
Customer states; very few rounds through it. Unknown when last serviced.
Cylinder won’t open.
Pistol was stiff. Stuck cylinder stop and hammer wouldn’t cycle DA.
Disassembled and found dried grease build up and light interior rust. The double action lever & cylinder latch bolt were seized with dried grease. After a detailed clean to remove the build up all parts cycled through the sonic cleaner.
After proper lubrication, a function check then a test fire has it ready for duty. The muzzle wear was cleaned and given a cold blue application and blended in.
