At the rear of the fuselage of most aircraft one finds a horizontal stabilizer and an elevator. The stabilizer is a fixed wing section whose job is to provide stability for the aircraft, to keep it flying straight. The horizontal stabilizer prevents up-and-down, or pitching, motion of the aircraft nose.

Ask any child under the age of eight what they want to be when they grow up and I guarantee their eyes light aglow with the mere thought of the future that awaits them as a doctor, criminal attorney, a police officer serving the community, or elementary teachers...Happily Ever After. End of story.

Sometimes, that childlike innocence can get lost in the noise of life just as soon as we get started building the future we long dreamed of and we forgot the excitement we once had for our lives, our family and our careers.

It’s always easy to know when an airplane is around. If they are close enough, you can hear the rumble of the jets and scratch across the sky. If they are far away, often it is hard to hear, but if you look up into the heavens, you can see their lights flickering, signaling their trek across the clouds. Those lights, that flicker in the sky, are more important than you might think. These lights, called anti-collision lights, warn pilots that another aircraft is nearby. It makes it easier to spot to prevent collisions.

Here’s a question. Do you have warning lights going off around you? Have your interactions with co-workers marked you as hard to get along with, hard to work with, temperamental? Does your team “steer clear” of you, in hopes of preventing head-on collisions of wits and wills?

Sometimes we don't see how our own personalities can clash with others and we need a little help navigating the corporate skies so that we are heard and received in the best of ways.

We've all been there. A new year comes and we enter into this cycle of embracing a new season with rose colored glasses. We think big and start making brave plans for the future. We commiserate over the previous year, determined and ambitious about the new path we will forge, the new relationships we will gather. We determine it will be better this time. Way better.
..and we start out strong, diving head first into the list of things we are aching to get done and then our determination begins to wane as life gets in the way. Then suddenly, you look up and your are halfway through your year. You're behind on your goals, you're discouraged - even more, you are defeated.

Here's something that we've learned to help get back on track. Hit the RESET button. It's just that simple. Reset calls for you to:

🎯Reflect on your past and decide your future
🎯Evaluate your priorities to pursue the right goals
🎯Simplify instead of over-complicate
🎯Establish a plan to achieve better results in less time
🎯Time Block actions that fast track extraordinary results
