The problem may be a nearby yellow jacket nest in or around your home. A few of the common places yellow jackets can establish a nest are in soffits, crawlspaces, wall voids, trees, and in the ground.

A couple of bald-faced hornet nest removals from yesterday! One for a residential customer and another at a local cemetery. Both were basketball-sized or larger!

These nests can grow quickly this time of year, so be careful if you spot one around your property.

Meet the Owner 🙋🏽‍♂️

Hi all, I’m Brady Bergefurd, the proud owner of Blink Pest Control. Here’s me along with my son, the newest addition to the family!

I graduated from The Ohio State University and began my career in the construction industry, working in sales and project management for the past 4+years. Those experiences taught me the importance of communication, reliability, attention to detail, and taking care of customers.

This year, I decided to pursue a long-time goal of building something of my own and launched Blink Pest Control. Today, I have the opportunity to help homeowners and businesses protect their properties while providing the kind of service I’d want for my own family.

This business is more than just pest control. It’s about building something that supports my family, serves the local communities, and provides customers with a company they can trust.

Tick bite-related ER visits hit their highest seasonal level since 2017, with rates more than double the historical average.

For every 100,000 ER visits in April, approximately 71 involved tick bites — compared to a typical seasonal average of 30, according to CDC data.

Children under 10 and adults between 70-79 saw some of the highest rates.
