I’ve had a lot of complaints about this store over the recent few months. I’ve even been *that woman* who complains to the customer service, department manager, and even the store manager. I always feel heard, and I think they have made great improvements over recent months!
I hear a lot of negative comments about this location in my personal feed and other groups around town.
Today, I have some positive notes!
Chell at Publix Super Market At Summit Point made my father and me the most amazing toasted chicken tender sub! It was the special of the day yesterday, so I was a little surprised that they were out of tenders.
We stepped over to the meat counter and ordered some meets with Jorette , who always serves me with a smile, even though I like my ham shaved (my son and I swear it tastes better so thinly sliced that it’s falling apart!)! She remembered that my husband likes roast beef and talked me into getting some of the meets on sale, as well! What an up-seller!
By the time my meats were sliced, the tenders were ready and Chell took me immediately to make my sandwich since we had been waiting. I explained that I have a pepper allergy and she took the time to clean the counters, wash the knife, wash her hands and don fresh gloves! That’s the service I love to see, considering even small amounts of pepper can make me sick.
I told her how I like my sandwich and she made it perfectly! I bought some bottles of unsweetened and raspberry tea, paid for my sub and my father and I enjoyed eating them hot right there in the cafe area!
Then we finished our shopping with smiles on our faces and full bellies!
A+
Well…. Maybe just an A! They were out of chicken tenders at the start of the lunch rush on the day that chicken tender sub was the *sub of the day!* 😳
