ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Accepted! 🪣💙

Thank you to our friends at Orlando Emergency Signal (OES) for nominating Holmes Security Systems to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and help raise awareness in the fight against ALS.
We proudly accept this challenge in honor of Holmes-Wheeler family member Cory Burell, who passed away in March 2019, just days shy of his 36th birthday, and Grant Singleton, a Fayetteville realtor who passed away in 2025.

Today and every day, we stand with those impacted by ALS, the individuals fighting this disease, their families and caregivers, and the researchers and advocates working toward a cure.
As a family-owned company serving our community since 1908, we believe protecting our neighbors means more than securing homes and businesses. It means showing up for one another when it matters most. 💙

Along with accepting the challenge, Holmes Security Systems is donating to the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), the largest drug discovery lab focused solely on finding treatments for ALS.

Giving back looks good on Team Holmes. 💙

Today, some of our Holmes Security Systems team joined other businesses and community volunteers at the Crown Expo Center to help pack 70,000 meals for our community through United Way!

We spend every day working to help protect the communities we serve, but being part of this community means so much more than what we do for a living. It means showing up, lending a hand, and taking care of our neighbors.

Protecting our community goes beyond security systems.
This afternoon, our technicians, Anthony and Drew, spotted a mulch fire starting outside a commercial customer's location. Thanks to their quick response, the fire was extinguished before it could become something much worse.

Moments like this remind us that life safety is about more than technology. It's about people who care enough to take action when it matters.

🚭 Public Safety Reminder: Improperly discarded ci******es remain one of the leading causes of preventable outdoor fires. Please make sure smoking materials are completely extinguished and disposed of in designated containers.
