Bethany & Grace + Photography Bethany Grace Childress fell in love with photography years ago. Bethany Grace does not offer her subjects a typical professional photography experience.

The idea that a thing so ordinary could become extraordinary behind a camera lens motivated her to shoot everyday still objects and transform them into photographical art pieces. When friends in her hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina began to ask her to take professional personal photos of themselves, Bethany Grace reveled in the opportunities to hone her talents by focusing on the technical

aspects of professional photography - to play with light and shadows, poses and profiles, and more. In recent years, the requests for private family photo sessions and social event photography have multiplied greatly and in recognizing that her talents were perhaps more than just a hobby, Bethany Grace Photography was born. As a matter of fact, one of her biggest pet peeves is department store photo studio photography. She hates that so many of the people in these types of photographs do not look like themselves and seem to be missing, many times, the essence of who they are. She is a firm believer in giving her subjects the freedom to create their own pictures naturally. Why make a toddler sit sterile on a small elevated table with a cheap carpeted covering when you can follow that child while they push their toy cars around the floor and capture a piece of who that child really is? Bethany Grace Photography incorporates all types of photography, from black and white vintage to Bokeh photos, macrophotography, documentary photography, art photography, professional head shots, marketing and advertising photography, group photo sessions, wedding photography, and action photography. Many professional photographers will use props and setting to bring out the beauty in their subjects, Bethany Grace Photography strives to simply capture the real essence of the beauty that is alive in you.
