It’s that time of year
We all have hunts we are going on whether they are local or far away i thought this would be good info !!

You should tip your hunting guide 10–20% of the total cost of the hunt, with the exact amount depending on the level of service and effort provided. While 10% is a good baseline for good service, a tip closer to 20% is appropriate for an exceptional experience. Tip based on the guide's performance, knowledge, and effort, not solely on whether you harvested an animal.

MEMBERS:
With deer season opening next Saturday I always pass on a tip each year that was taught to me by my late uncle. If you take a deer it is bound to be warm this time of year. Never forget your Black Pepper! When you field dress your deer sprinkle the pepper inside the deer immediately, do not allow the deer to dry out or the pepper won't stick. Also pour pepper into the palm of your hand and toss up inside the chest cavity, then place pepper around entrance and exit wounds, corners of eyes and mouth. Flies will not land on the pepper and lay eggs on your meat and the pepper is not going to hurt anything as it is only a seasoning. Another thing: Do not go out opening day and get into your blind without having checked it before that time for wasp nest. Check under and on back of seats etc... I would hate to crawl in a blind full of wasp. Good luck to you all and I hope you have the best season of your life!
