The Broadwell College of Business & Economics at Fayetteville State University and the Fayetteville-Cumberland Regional Entrepreneur and Business HUB are proud to present the FSU Entrepreneurial Impact Awards Gala, celebrating the entrepreneurs, small businesses, industries, and nonprofits that are driving economic growth, creating jobs, and strengthening our community.

We encourage you to review the award categories and submit a nomination, whether for your own business or another deserving business or organization.

If your business is selected as one of the Top 2 finalists in an award category, you will be asked to provide documentation supporting the information included in your nomination.
Each Top 2 finalist will receive one complimentary ticket for the business owner, and award winners will be announced live during the Gala being held 10 September 2026.

Nomination Deadline: August 15, 2026

While the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) serves businesses across North Carolina, nominees for these awards must be located within the FSU HUB's service area, which includes Bladen, Columbus, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland Counties.

We were honored to welcome Secretary Jocelyn Mitnaul Mallette of the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (NC.dmva) to the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) at Fayetteville State University.

During her visit, Secretary Mitnaul Mallette learned more about the VBOC’s mission, programs, and the resources we provide to support veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs across North Carolina. We enjoyed the opportunity to discuss our work and the role of entrepreneurship in helping members of the military community pursue their business goals.

We appreciate Secretary Mitnaul Mallette taking the time to visit with our team and learn more about the work being done through the VBOC.

The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) at Fayetteville State University was proud to attend the SBA Lender Matchmaking Expo at the College of The Albemarle in Edenton, NC!

The event featured opening remarks from SBA Southeast Regional Administrator Teresa Tyler and connected entrepreneurs with lenders and business resource partners.

VBOC Director Robin Livingston met with aspiring and established business owners, sharing resources on business planning, and technical assistance.

Thank you to the U.S. Small Business Administration and the College of The Albemarle for hosting a fantastic event and supporting North Carolina's small business community!
