Soft, morning colors. The heat and drought have taken their toll on the gardens. This is the time I throw in the towel. Long summer of dragging hoses and buckets around comes to an end. Harvest time. Most annuals will sense this is the beginning of the end and set seed a little quicker.

Another gorgeous spring sunset! Accomplished a lot in all the gardens this weekend. Surprised since new puppy has been in tow! Maverick is settling in. Biggest issue (besides hens) is keeping him out of the cat food! Otherwise going surprisingly well.
