HERE IS SOME INFORMATION ON GREEN GUY AND HOW TO GET STARTED. HELP MAKE A GREEN DIFFERENCE!

The 2013 year has started and so have your New Year’s resolutions. Make one more resolution and GO GREEN this year with Green Guy Recycling. The City of Fayetteville does not offer a recycle pickup for residents living outside the city limits or towards Goshen. This leaves you with two options: 1) throw away these recyclables or 2) spend your time and gas driving completely across town to drop them off. Green Guy Recycling is your solution to go green and better our environment. The average household trashes 8 pounds of recyclables a week, which ends up in our already crowded landfills. Green Guy Recycling offers a dependable and practical curbside recycle pickup for you.
Q- What is Green Guy Recycling?
A-Green Guy Recycling is your curbside recycle pickup for residents living outside the Fayetteville City Limits.
Q-Who is Green Guy?
A-My name is Ramsey Jones and I am a junior at Fayetteville High School. This summer I was the winner of an entrepreneurial summer program with the Chamber of Commerce, and now I am working to serve you and create a healthier environment.
Q-How much does Green Guy Recycling cost?
A-The curbside recycle pickup costs a small fee of $20 a month. If you go ahead and pay for a year it comes with a month free and Green Guy will provide a bin for you.
Q-When is pickup?
A-Green Guy will pickup recyclables starting at 7 a.m. every other Saturday of every month. We will contact you with pickup dates via email and a schedule will be posted on our page.
Q-Do you have to sort the recyclables in the bin?
A-No you just place the appropriate recyclables in the recycling bin (or your choice of container) and we will sort them for you.
Q-What can be recycled?
A-We recycle newspaper, mixed paper, paperboard (cereal boxes, etc.), cardboard, plastic bottles coded #1 and #2, aluminum cans, steel cans; and brown, green, and clear glass containers. (add Green Guy Recycling NWA on facebook for videos on what to recycle.)
