After a long day, peace finds me in the quiet rituals.
A coloring book. A favorite lip balm.
Simple things, but they help me slow down, reset, and come back to myself.

Joy isn’t always loud or life-changing.
Sometimes it’s gentle, personal, and exactly what we need. ✨

Small habits really do add up.
Today it was steps on the treadmill and a reminder from Diary of a CEO + Atomic Habits that progress doesn’t have to be loud to matter.

What’s one small thing you’re doing to make your life or health a little better right now? 🤍

Let’s all breathe and move through it. The New Year is upon us. I don’t know about y’all, but 2025 has been so sweet and also bitter…like a little Sour Patch Kid. We made it. 🎄🙌🎊🗓️ who’s ready for a brand new year! 👏🙋🏼‍♀️

Be as you are. It’s all good! 🎄💡🫶

It’s okay if this season doesn’t feel happy or magical. 🫂

If all you can do right now is get through the day, that’s still enough. You don’t have to feel joyful all the time.

Showing up and surviving is already something to be proud of.

🌾 A Thanksgiving message for anyone hurting today

I’ve been thinking about the people who are carrying something heavy into Thanksgiving this year — the ones who are grieving, exhausted, lonely, overwhelmed, or just doing the best they can to make it through the day.

If that’s you… I see you. Holidays have a way of shining a light on everything we’ve lost, everything we wish we had, and everything we’re fighting our way through. And it can feel like everyone else is living in a different world.

A song came to mind today: “Smile.”
Angeline Ball’s version in My Girl 2 has always stayed with me — soft, steady, and somehow both sad and hopeful at the same time.

A little music-history note (because I love things like this):
Nat King Cole first recorded “Smile” with lyrics in 1954, and it became a hit. But the melody is even older — Charlie Chaplin composed it back in 1936 as an instrumental theme for his film Modern Times. Nat King Cole’s version added the words that turned it into the song we know today.

And honestly… that feels fitting.
Because sometimes life is like that — you’re living the instrumental version for a long time before the words come, before the meaning makes sense, before your story finds its voice.

So if today is hard, I hope you give yourself permission to feel what you feel.
And I hope you remember that even in the difficult seasons, your story is still unfolding — and the melody is still beautiful.

🧡 You’re not alone.
🧡 You’re not behind.
🧡 And you’re allowed to move through this day gently.

Some seasons feel like this picture.

You’re walking down a path that’s soaked from everything life has poured on you…
but the trees are still blooming overhead anyway.

And that’s kind of how I feel right now.

I’m still stuck in a lot of ways.
Still waiting.
Still wrestling with things I wish would break loose already.
Still carrying weight I wish I could lay down.

But I’m also… a little better than I was.

A little clearer.
A little stronger.
A little more rooted.
A little more hopeful.

And it’s this strange mix—being proud of my small wins while still feeling the ache of what hasn’t changed yet.

It’s sad, in a way.
Because you want to be further along.
You want the breakthrough now.
You want the sun, not more rain.

But it’s also beautiful.
Because you can see you’re not the same person who started this path.
The growth is quieter.
But it’s real.

So yeah… I’m still stuck.
But I’m stuck with blossoms overhead.
I’m stuck with small steps in the right direction.
I’m stuck with a better version of me than I had last year.

And if you’re here too—half hurting, half healing—just know this:

Even in the rain, you’re still blooming. 🌸

I’m not an affiliate for Passion Planner (yet 😉), but honestly… I would love to be. These planners have quietly transformed the way I move through my days.

This year felt heavy, busy, and overwhelming at times. Between work, school, parenting, and trying to rebuild my life, I needed something that helped me get grounded and focused again. Passion Planner became that anchor for me.

Building anything — a life, a dream, a business — looks a lot less glamorous up close.
It’s pieces everywhere.
It’s learning as you go.
It’s figuring out what fits and what needs to be rebuilt.

Lately I’ve realized I don’t want to wait until everything is “finished” before I let people see the process. There’s something honest, and kind of freeing, about being witnessed in the middle of the build.

So this is me showing the workbench, not the grand reveal.

If you’re building your own thing right now too… pull up a spot. There’s room here for people who are still figuring out the next piece.

What part of your life are you quietly rebuilding right now?
