I've been an admirer and collector of Vintage and Classic Speakers for most of my life. My electronics and woodworking skills have enabled me to refurbish, rebuild, restore, and in many cases, improve classic designs from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

A true "Rube Goldberg" attempted transformer replacement. Transformer was too large, and inappropriet for the Equalizer....

A true "Rube Goldberg" attempted transformer replacement. Transformer was too large, and inappropriet for the Equalizer. Note the cutout in the circuit board, and jumper wires. A new, correct replacement transformer was installed, circuit traces repaired, and a full Re-Cap done with premium Panasonic and Elna Silmic II Capacitors.
