Be advised that a massive power outage is affecting Winterstown Borough and portions of North Hopewell Township. A large tree has downed electric lines on Hill Street. Please avoid this area. Road Closed signs have been placed. Met-Ed has been notified.

For those who believe everything they read or see on the internet before doing their research first....here is some education for you.

Recently there have been misleading information about the presence of a FLOCK system on our property at NHWVFC. Although we fully support the FLOCK system, unfortunately there is NOT one in Winterstown Borough. The "so-called" FLOCK system being shown on the "DeFLOCK" map is a marked police vehicle displaying your current MPH speed. Its purpose is to alert drivers of their speed in
reference to the posted 35 speed limit.

Please stop spreading false information. If you have any concerns, please contact the Fire Chief of Station 45. TIA.
