This is was an interesting project the other week. The electrical service was installed 30 plus years ago with no bedding, over time the rock wore through the outer coating of the electrical line and started grounding to the rock, and melting in to rock. This caused to lose one leg of the electrical supply. The JRB crew located the problem and exposed enough for a replacement to be installed.

A little wall replacement project the JRB Excavating LLC team completed a few weeks ago. The customer contacted us with concerns of the old wall falling over due to hydraulic pressure pushing the old wall out of plumb. We proposed the Verti Block system to replace the existing wall because of the higher psi load on the driveway above the wall and great visual appeal on the face of the wall. This wall system can be used as a gravity wall or as a restrained wall which is ideal in situations where space is limited. Below are some before and after pictures of the wall.
