If you've seen this vehicle speeding through the area over the last 14 months, you are not alone.
Recently, the driver installed a modified exhaust that backfires continuously. Tonight, the license plate was captured with a Platewatch mailbox, and I quickly determined it was the same driver that was tossing liquor bottles out of his car around the neighborhood last year.
Yes, the police have all the information.
To the 17-year old driver of the blue BMW in Greenmar Estates: It's time to grow up. Our neighborhoods are home to families, children, pets, and wildlife. These neighborhoods are not your personal drag strip, and they aren’t your dumping ground for your liquor bottles before you return home.
If you see this vehicle speeding and driving recklessly, please call the police. Hopefully your report will help law enforcement take action before something tragic happens.
Unfortunately, this has been going on for 14 months, and I’m afraid it will not end until there is a tragedy.
