Stengel Signs Stengel Sign is a family owned Print and Sign Shop that has served the St. Louis area Since 1963 Don F. Stengel Sr. entered the signmaking business in the 1940s.

He started his own company in St. Louis in 1960 and, along with his family, established a reputation for quality in professionally hand-painted signs. In the years since, Don F. Stengel – Signs, Inc. has grown from a small home business to a strong presence in the signmaking field. Now under the management of the Stengels’ children, Don Jr. and Susan, the company occupies a 6000 sq. ft. facility. brings more than a half-century of experience into a whole new era of signmaking. They do everything from truck and van graphics and decals to real estate signs and storefronts. Their work can be seen all over the country as well as Canada and Mexico. These days, the majority of their work is vinyl graphics created using the latest in computer technology, but they still offer hand rendered lettering for customers who prefer that old-style craftsmanship. Whatever the medium, whatever the application, pride and professionalism are still an integral part of the Stengel family’s legacy.
