I want to extend my sincere thanks and congratulations to our City Council members for an excellent and productive retreat at the Bigwood Event Center.

The open dialogue, collaborative spirit, and thoughtful discussions were encouraging and impactful. It was especially energizing to hear the positive feedback from local businesses and to see the strong alignment around opportunity, growth, and long-term success for Fergus Falls.

There is real momentum right now. The potential for business expansion in our community is strong, and it was reassuring to hear how much confidence our business community has in the direction we’re heading.

I’m grateful for the professionalism, teamwork, and shared commitment shown during this retreat. It reinforced what I already know — Fergus Falls is moving forward with intention, optimism, and purpose.
