The deadline to register for the Fergus Falls State of the Community event and Business Gives awards is Friday, November 8. The event will be held on Thursday, November 14 from 11:30-1:00 pm at the Bigwood Event Center.

This year's State of the Community event will feature keynote speaker Kelly Asche from the Center for Rural Policy Development.

Registration is now open for Fergus Falls State of the Community, held on Thursday, November 14 from 11:30 am-1:00 pm at the Bigwood Event Center. All are welcome to register! (Click on the State of the Community graphic on our home page - www.fergusfalls.com)

The Fergus Falls Chamber organizes this event in partnership with Greater Fergus Falls, the City of Fergus Falls, and Otter Tail County, Minnesota. This year's event will feature Kelly Asche, from the Center for Rural Policy & Development, as the keynote speaker. Asche will discuss how rural communities can grow successfully.

Another part of the State of the Community event is to highlight Chamber member for-profit businesses that have donated 2% or more of their net profits back into the community. Qualifying companies can fill out a short form when registering for event tickets and will be recognized with the Business Gives program. (Registering for Business Gives automatically gives one free ticket to the business. Additional tickets can be purchased for $25, which includes lunch.)
