This silent auction will last for one week. All winners are asked to pick up their lot on April 24th or 25th between the hours of 10am and 3pm.

If you wish to see the items up for auction, feel free to come to The Foundry between the hours of 10am and 3pm on Thursday and Friday of this week.

Auction! Auction! That’s right! All of our furniture and office materials must go!

As we prepare to close the doors on our downtown location we will be selling our office furniture. The sale will happen on Zeffy, an online fundraising platform for non profits. All proceeds from this auction will go back into Greater Fergus Falls as we prepare for the future and further supporting our community.

If you are interested in participating in this auction, please stay watch our Facebook or Instagram accounts for further instructions. A follow up post will happen early next week for the start of the silent auction. No private offers will be accepted. Everything sold will happen during the silent auction.

All items will be lists in lot sizes on the auction platform. We ask that everyone please be patient and wait for our follow up post early next week.

Greater Fergus Falls has been dedicated to fostering economic development in our community since July 2, 2018, when the city council voted in favor of authorizing the mayor to create a new 501(c)3 organization to help aid and oversee business growth and retention. Since our inception, we have handled approximately 500 inquiries from businesses and entrepreneurs each year. We have been the city's resource for business retention and expansion, business attraction and entrepreneurship, and economic competitiveness. We also filled a vacant storefront downtown to have a physical presence in our community with a co-working space, meeting and training space and a venue for pop-up shops. We take immense pride in our efforts to support individuals, businesses, and community leaders in their growth and development and our positive impact on people and the community.



Since October, we have engaged in discussions with City Council about a collaborative future for our community. In light of these discussions, we have delayed hiring a director to ensure alignment with the emerging vision. Recently, it has become evident that the City Council has no current consensus for economic development and is actively pursuing alternate paths. The leaders serving on the board of Greater Fergus Falls live in and care deeply about our community, but without a (literal or figurative) seat at the table for any of the discussions, we believe our passion and talent can be used to help alternate organizations and causes in our community.



Consequently, Greater Fergus Falls (and the Foundry) will become inactive for the foreseeable future. We are making plans to vacate our downtown office space and will collaborate with City staff to ensure a swift transition for business, land, and growth inquiries. We extend our best wishes to the Mayor and City Council as they make decisions regarding economic development in our community.
