We 💚 Trash...and fashion!

Thank you Habitat for Humanity Whatcom County for hosting yet another fabulous . We had a whole RDS team creating the dress of our trash dreams and are honored to win the Grand Design Award 🥇 first place!

Our hearts are so full after the 7th Annual Trashion Show: Haute Couture – Earth Edition.

🌎 Every day is at Recycling & Disposal Services, Inc. 🌍

In 2025, we recycled +12,500 tons (~25,436,000 lbs) of material.

That comes from both our mixed waste recycling program, where we sort out wood, metal, and cardboard, and source-separated recycling, where customers do the sorting upfront for a more cost-effective solution!

Both matter, both work, and both are possible because of our staff and customers helping sort and recycle!

For 2026, we’re already on track to exceed those numbers.

Today we celebrate but the real impact isn’t one day a year, it’s built load by load, decision by decision. Thank you for contributing to better recycling choices and responsible solid waste management.
