Happy first Monday of October, Halloween is a few weeks away! With the colder temperatures creeping in, furnaces and fireplaces being turned on and operated. Fire Savvy would like to remind everyone to check your smoke detectors are operating correctly and the batteries have been recently changed. Have a great, fire safe week!

Consumers should immediately contact Potter Electric or their fire alarm system dealers/installers for a free replacement. All known Potter Electric distributors and dealers/installers have been notified directly by the firm.

Consumers should immediately contact Kidde for a free replacement alarm. Consumers should keep using the recalled alarms until they install replacement alarms.
