HandDancer Interpreter Services is located in Whatcom County, Washington near Bellingham, providing American Sign Language interpreting services primarily to the counties in Western Washington. We serve the Deaf and Deaf-Blind community, and the community at large, striving to insure that consumers have access to high quality interpreting services when needed. HandDancer Interpreter Services is the only local (Whatcom/Skagit/Island/San Juan counties) interpreting agency awarded a contract to provide ASL interpreting for Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) clients in the NW corner. We also hold a contract with Western Washington University for services to students, faculty and staff, as well as contracts with local medical providers, including PeaceHealth St Joseph's Medical Center, Seamar Community Health Center and Interfaith Community Health Center.
