"Someone on TikTok asked me a question I had never actually considered: 'Does your deaf daughter hear in her dreams?' I looked at Kylee, my little girl who has never heard the sound of my voice, and realized I didn't know the answer.

I decided to ask her. She looked at me, signed 'No,' and then explained something that blew my mind. She said, 'I don't hear, but everyone knows sign language in my dreams.' It was a profound glimpse into her world—a world where she isn't disabled, but where everyone else finally speaks her language."
