I am making a request from all my personal and professional people in my life. Many of you know I started a business, BLeadersEdge, LLC in 2016. I also have been faced with many surgeries to regain not only use of my legs, but to manage my pain levels. During this time, I have also been slowly working on my vision for BLeadersEdge, a leadership development organization that provides unique leadership training built on my three years of doctoral of leadership attendance.
My request is to share in your networks the following if you see fit. I am starting here as my base is a set of strong leaders who have grown with me through the years. I have a dream to build this business to help grow new leaders through mini and micro leadership learning as we tend to be getting shorter attention spans with so much technological advancement during our times. What can I say?
Well, it has been a very long and trying journey with BLeadersEdge leadership training courses. I started this dream during my doctoral in leadership journey. Let me expand after a brief introduction.
Hi, my name is Michael Nadeau. I built a career leading teams in delivering strategic organizational change during my career at a global level. I am highly educated in both management and leadership. I have but 6 courses to complete my doctoral in leadership prior to a life-altering course accident when I sustained the shattering of most of my spine. I have endured many challenges both personally and professionally. I have built BLeadersEdge LLC as an organization that provides leadership training to improve leadership discipline. It has been a trying yet amazingly successful journey that I am now ready to share with you!
I started with a unique vision, Incremental Shift, a unique learning process I created while in my doctoral program. It fell upon me like a lead weight when digging in deeper to further understand tacit knowledge. I discovered that learning at high levels of leadership entails a strong level of tacit knowledge. But it starts with explicit and implicit understanding. Hence, Incremental Shift.
So, what is Incremental Shift? Well, I designed an extremely long process life cycle, some 300 PowerPoint slides, that entails starting the leadership learning process at the individual level (Team123 level 1). I broke down various leadership characteristics that added personal leadership growth through a sequentially designed process.
Incremental Shift then moves to team level (Team123 level 2) and focuses on the leadership characteristics that add to team leadership discipline growth in a sequential series of learning that leads to teams’ improvement in the areas of discussing these leadership characteristics and extend the leadership discipline.
Incremental Shift finally moves to organization level (Team123 level 3) and focuses on the leadership characteristics that add to organizational leadership discipline growth in a sequential series of learning that leads to teams across the organization improvement in the areas of discussing these leadership characteristics and extend the leadership discipline.
So, I had to add training courses to the Incremental Shift process, so enter KooLeaderZ Video Series (mini learning) and KooLeaderZ Video Refresher Series (micro learning). KooLeaderZ Video Series is a sequential learning series that moves through three phases, while KooLeaderZ Video Refresher Series is a free selection for those that completed the mini coursework in KooLeaderZ Video Series. A leader can select any micro learning topic to refresh leadership discipline discussions and extend understanding. Each of the video series combine to create the training in Team123 Leadership.
Our team has built a system for leadership training based on many years of experience. Team123 is based on building leadership in three phases.
1. Individual Leadership Development
2. Team Leadership Development
3. Organizational Leadership Development
We break each of the three phases into three channels for both KooLeaderZ series:
1. Entry
2. Intermediate
3. Advanced
These each contain three training sets of three leadership topics, driven to grow the leadership discipline through time and experience. This totals 27 leadership topics for each phase for a total of 81 courses for both video series. They are paralleled in leadership characteristics. So, for each phase and channel the three courses are the same, however, KooLeaderZ Video Refresher Series adds new KooL Keys to Success to further leadership discipline.
As we are looking for new customers, we are currently offering deeply discounted pricing for an initial ramp up period to increase sales. Who are our anticipated customers?
