What an incredible evening at the INRC Jubilee!💜✨️

There’s something special about gathering neighbors, community leaders, and people who believe in the power of neighborhoods coming together. The Jubilee was a beautiful reminder of the impact the INRC - Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center has on communities across Indianapolis; supporting neighborhood leaders, strengthening connections, and helping residents recognize the power they have to shape the places they call home.

We are incredibly grateful for the work INRC continues to do and for everyone who invests their time, talents, and resources into building stronger neighborhoods.

✨️Special shoutout to the Hawthorne Neighborhood Association, who was a Collaborative Spirit Award finalist for their National Night Out event! 👏🏾🎉

While they didn’t take home the award, being recognized as a finalist is something to celebrate. Their commitment to bringing neighbors together, creating opportunities for connection, and building a stronger sense of community deserves to be applauded!

Because at the heart of a healthy community is belonging; recognizing that each of us brings something valuable to the table, even when our experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds are different. When we make space for one another, appreciate the gifts we each bring, and work together toward a shared vision, we create communities where people can truly thrive.

This past Saturday, CAFE was honored to receive the 2026 Community Partner Impact Award from the Indianapolis Urban League during its 60th Anniversary Signature Gala.

This recognition celebrates the meaningful work CAFE continues to lead throughout the Far Eastside and the impact made possible through strong community partnerships. We are deeply grateful to the Indianapolis Urban League for believing in our mission and investing in programs that support workforce development, youth and education, maternal health, mental health, and the overall well being of our community.

We proudly share this honor with our dedicated staff, board, partners, supporters, and every resident who trusts CAFE to serve alongside them. This award belongs to our entire Far Eastside community.

Thank you to the Indianapolis Urban League for this incredible recognition and for continuing to empower communities and change lives.
