This is so true. The sad fact is that the toxic do not always know that they are toxic. Sometimes, folk need a mirror, or a personal assessment to better understand themselves and those that work with them.

It is crucial to understand that a toxic high performer, regardless of their skills and accomplishments, negatively impacts the creation and sustainability of a positive work environment. Their tendency to create drama can inadvertently drive away valuable colleagues and disrupt the sense of teamwork that is crucial for success.

While they may contribute significant results, the emotional toll and strain on relationships often overshadow those gains. The impact of their behavior can lead to a less cohesive team, ultimately costing more in morale and collaboration than what they provide in output. Understanding this dynamic is essential for building a healthier, more supportive workplace.

Had breakfast @ Hammock Dunes learning abt the latest legislative outcomes for Flager County with the Palm Coast Flager Regional Chamber of Commerce. Local Government shared the prospects and projected timelines of what's in progress. Senator Tom Leek and Representative Sam Greco talked about the $$ allocated to some of the local projects as well as the fact that there are about 1m more registered Rep voters in FL than Dems. Interesting.
