Potentially life-threatening flash flooding expected from the Southwest into the southern High Plains into early Wednesday.

A Flood Watch is in effect for the entire Tri-State Area beginning Tuesday evening (September 29) and ending late Thursday afternoon (October 01). Most or all of the area is forecast to see 0.5" to 2" of rain. Locally heavier rainfall amounts (up to 4") may lead to flooding in rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying areas. Monitor the forecast for possible Flood Warnings.
