MKS Consulting and RAW Consulting Solutions will be leading a one-day Virtual (Zoom) training about the process of delivering and getting paid for ABA services. The ethical implications of each of these topics for behavior analysts will be discussed throughout the training. Bundled Payments
➡Bundled services/payments allot for a single payment to cover the entire cost of a service. Adaptive Behavior Services have pre and post activities that are “bundled” into the rate for the face-to-face services with a patient. 97151 Behavior Identification Assessment allows for an indirect non face-to-face component in rendering this service code.

Enforcement in your Compliance Program
✅During prospective audits, there may be a need to enforce protocols as a preventative measure. This may include holding claims until all documentation deficiencies are resolved.

Education in your Compliance Program
➡Educate providers on medical necessity and documentation requirements.
➡Most providers have an inherent knowledge of best practice for documenting clinical standards, but there can be a gap between clinical standards, code set guidelines, and medical necessity requirements of payers.
• Determine who needs training (coding, billing, and compliance)
• Choose the type of training that fits the needs of the practice and providers
• Establish a schedule for when and how often training is needed
➡Focus on areas that need attention and correction. Areas that demonstrate risks of non-compliance, including recoupments and payment denials that can result in pre-payment audits.
