The City of Ashland is still taking applications for its Utility Assistance Program. This program will help qualifying residents with a one-time payment of up to $125.00 to be paid toward water/sewer/garbage.

Residents must meet a set of eligibility requirements, which are based on the household income, household resources and area of residence of the applicants.

Another apartment fire in our community happened today (photo courtesy of Grayson FD). Although this is not our building it is still devastating to know someone has lost all their material possessions.

This is why renter’s insurance is VITAL. Recently we’ve investigated and found that if you add renter’s insurance to your auto policy it can actually SAVE you money.

For example, Kentucky Farm Bureau (who we recommend) charges approximately $11 and change for $10,000 worth of content coverage as well as liability. Adding this to your current auto policy will qualify you for a ‘multi policy’ discount, thus practically working out to no increase in premium what so ever.

🚨 Cold Weather Reminder & Water Line Info 🚨

With colder weather approaching, we want to help everyone avoid frozen or burst water lines. Please take a moment to review the following:

💧 What you should know:
• Keep your thermostat set to a consistent temperature, even if you’re away.
• Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate.
• Let faucets drip slightly during extreme cold.

🧊 If a pipe freezes or bursts:
• Shut off the main water valve if accessible.
• Contact management as soon as possible so we can address it quickly and prevent further damage—please keep in mind weather conditions can also delay maintenance, but issues will
be resolved as quickly as possible!

These simple steps can save a lot of trouble (and water) during freezing conditions. Thank you for helping protect the property and keeping things running smoothly for everyone!
