Celebrating 50 Years of Putsch® USA! 🎉
On October 24, 1975, our doors officially opened in Western North Carolina, marking the start of an incredible journey.
For five decades, our U.S. location has served as Putsch® Group’s North American technical, manufacturing, and service center — supporting innovation across industries from sugar and filtration technology to glass and panel processing.
Before the digital age — driven by the goal of improving service, support, and delivery on the Eastern Seaboard, and a commitment to catering to the unique needs of the North American market — we set our sights Westward.
Our founding in North Carolina was inspired by a shared vision of progress — a result of the combined efforts of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Department, the N.C. Department of Natural and Economic Resources, and Governor James E. Holshouser.
This spirit — which our founder, Henry C. Radinger, recognized as North Carolina’s “State of Mind,” a sense of optimism, industriousness, and cooperation — guided the decision to establish our first U.S. facility in Western North Carolina.

As we celebrate this milestone, we want to thank our customers, partners, and employees who made half a century of innovation possible. Here’s to 50 more years!
