Today marks the 40th anniversary of Mr Bread being a part of my family. March 15th, 1985, my father closed on the loan to purchase this company. The bank told him that he would be lucky if he could make it 5 years, and we are still going today! I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of the employees and vendors, past and present, that have helped make this happen. Also, without our great, loyal customers, this wouldn’t have been possible. There have been many ups and downs over the last 40 years but I wouldn’t trade any of it for the memories and friendships that have been made along the way! Mr Bread thanks each and every one of you that have played a part in this journey. This is a pretty cool accomplishment that not many thought was possible, so cheers to many more years to come…long live the dancing buns, haha.

Mr Bread will be returning to our normal store hours next week, which are 9-5 Monday - Friday, with the exception of staying open until 6:00 pm on Mondays for the folks that can't get to us by 5:00. We also ask that you maintain proper distance from each other and our staff while you are in here. Thank you for your patience and understanding, we hope all of you are staying safe and healthy during this difficult time.

Mr. Bread is still open and stocked. We have seen a tremendous outpouring of support from our community over the last couple of weeks and we couldn't be more proud and appreciative. Our store will remain open M-F, from 9-6, during these trying times. We still have plenty of inventory if any of you are struggling to find bread, buns, rolls, etc. in the bigger box stores. We are on the NW corner of Davison Rd and Dort Hwy (2709 Davison Rd). We are limiting our deliveries to our wholesale customers to two days a week to minimize the exposure of our employees and the public but still service our amazing customer’s needs. I just want to continue to let people know that our shelves are FULLY STOCKED with bread and dozens of other specialty items. We are not instituting any purchasing caps at this point because we are so well stocked and there have been a number of smaller nursing home and foster care facilities struggling to find product that have been so thankful to find us. Starting next week, we will be open until 6pm, Monday through Friday and considering weekend hours if the demand is there. If you need special assistance, please give us a call @ 810-767-3551. Let me brighten your day because it did mine...The Buddy Miller Foundation just donated $100 to Mr. Bread that was used to pay for bread for underprivaledged families that came into our store. Please let this be a lesson of how amazing this community can be. I know Buddy would be extremely proud of his family and community for this gesture. We love you Buddy and your spirit has never been stronger!!! 💚💚💚

If you don't see any on the shelf, please ask and we will bring more up from the warehouse.
