In 2020, G*I installed a 75 kW system at Gellersen Engineering Center on the beautiful Valparaiso University campus. The system helps the university manage energy costs and also provides a learning opportunity for students. Pictured here is G*I President, Chris Rohaly, with engineering students after the installation was complete. You can read more about the project here: https://www.gai.energy/commercial-case-studies/

What if your tractor could run off sunshine? ☀️🚜
Ohio-based solar appliance company GoSun, alongside Indiana manufacturer Moonrider, have created an electrical tractor with optional solar charging. Not only does this tractor run off UVs, it can act as a mobile power station for charging other equipment and tools in the field! If you'd like to learn more about how the solar industry can help farmers and land managers ditch diesel, read more:

GoSun and Moonrider have launched a 27 hp electric tractor powered by a 24 kWh LFP battery, with optional 1.1 kW solar charging. The four-wheel-drive tractor offers about five hours of runtime and features a 750 kg hitch lift capacity, rear PTO and connected functions.
