The position is to fill a front desk position as the initial public representative of the firm, and will offer opportunities to work closely with CPA’s and staff to gain first hand accounting and tax experience in a full service firm. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to build a career and grow in the industry.

Basic job duties include administrative tasks, maintaining filing systems, answering phones, setting appointments, payroll preparation and bookkeeping.

Our firm provides a variety of services to clients, with a heavy emphasis in tax. payroll, bookkeeping, estate and trust work, and consulting services are provided year round.

Pay starts at $15-17/hr (DOE), and includes health and dental insurance, with paid leave and retirement options after length of service requirements are met.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The candidate must have strong organizational and administrative skills and must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. They must be detail-oriented, able to work productively as part of a team as well as independently. They should also be confident in high stress situations that require multitasking and juggling multiple deadlines and priorities.

Strong computer and typing skills are required. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
