Once again time flies. Here’s a quick update of our last several months. Started this spring salvaging blowdown just like many of us in our industry. Then moved back to Cherry Creek. Finished the large unit in the GNA sale. Then finished a small private forest health and fuels reduction project. Then we moved down the hill and completed 4 small county park units also aimed at fire hazard reduction and forest health. Onto the next GNA unit which we are currently wrapping up. Will be moving to the last one next week Busy. Busy. But all good!!

Well, if anyone’s curious, this is what the end of life for a machine looks like. We had our Deere 2054 split to replace the roteck, and it turns out the base of the frame is cracked all across. No fixing that. Anybody want two halves of a machine?😂

We are selling loads of firewood again from our Thompson Falls project. Standing dead Doug for average diameters around 12” for $1,200 a load plus delivery. Nice stuff!

We also have green pulp firewood. Small diameter Doug fir, pine and grand fir for $400 a load plus delivery. Just need to get rid of this.

Gosh. First, rain all of November and December, didn’t get completed what we had hoped at Cherry Creek and with the weird weather we were a month late getting going at Calf Creek- then just in time for spring…..oh well. We have a lot of iron on the hill. Thanks Dyrk Krueger at Enhanced Forest Management for helping us make up some time. Oh yeah. Rooster got turned into a skidder for the winter😛
