Just a FYI the cost of our original metal is skyrocketing. To avoid another price increase, this is what our tops will look like for now! This is the same cypress base with a pvc coated aluminum and rust free staples. We can keep the price on these the same. We have had them on some of our own hives and they do the job the exact same. Made in shop, durable and we honestly think they look even cooler! Plus that shiny metal won’t blind you everytime you walk in the bee yard😎 Just wanted to give a heads up that when our last few originals go, this is what we will have. We can hopefully have more options in the future. Thanks!

Did you know we do one-on-one inspections here at Overflow? Going inside of a beehive before making the commitment can be very beneficial!

🐝?WHAT IS A ONE-ON-ONE INSPECTION?🐝

🟡You will get a tour of all of our products while going over proper usage and beekeeping vocabulary.

🟡We will go over your info packet and what we will be looking for inside of the hives.

🟡You can get suited up in one of our suits or we can help you pick out your own for purchase.

🟡We will do a hands on, guided inspection inside of hives of all sizes! Including nucs and swarm traps when we have them in the yard!

🟡We can help you identify queens, workers and drones. Along with any other resources inside of the hives. Nectar, honey, pollen, bee bread, eggs, etc.

After the inspection, we have waters and a free beehive log book for you! If you enjoyed it enough to get started, we can set your new hive up right after the inspection! These happen during our work hours and can be a group up to 4.

This Thursday is the Central MS Beekeepers Association meeting! The meeting is from 6:30-7:30, but come early if you want to visit with other beekeepers.

Also, let us know before Thursday at 5pm if you need something. We’ll be happy to deliver your supplies to the meeting!
