As a seasoned and caring early childhood/elementary educator with 20-plus years of experience, I believe that the early school years have the most marvel and magic for children. At Storybox Tales, my mission is to provide support to parents, teachers, and others who share my passion for nurturing our youngest learners. Combining my experience in many facets of education –including the Montessori m

ethod, my background in special education, and working with children with various skill sets – I have developed a hands-on, multi-sensory approach to learning that is the foundation on which Storybox Tales is built.

Ramona and I were taking a walk on a cloudy day last week.
We passed the library doors just as a mother and child exited.
The child (four or five years old) was carrying a stack of books.
CHILD: So right now, we will go home and read. We will read and read and read. We will read all of these books! And then tomorrow we will come right back here and get some more. Okay?
MOTHER: As you wish.
Oh, I loved overhearing this exchange!
It was if the sun had suddenly come out from behind the clouds.
